- To become a member of CSAP/National Association of Parliamentarians (NAP) you must successfully pass a basic membership examination consisting of 100 questions based on the current edition of Robert's Rules of Order Newly Revised (RONR).
- A minimum score of 70% is required.
- All 100 (matching, multiple choice, true/false) questions on the test are
taken from a list of 300 study questions covering the basics of parliamentary
procedure.
CSAP sponsors an online, interactive, self-scoring study guide for the
300 Questions.
It is available free to all interested persons. Visit the site by clicking
this link, and
use it often in your study for the examination.
- You will need an NAP member or a responsible member of your community to monitor your exam.
- There is no time limit on writing the exam; however, you and your monitor should plan on up to one hour for the test.
- After the monitor mails your test back to the NAP Membership Examiners Committee, you will receive your results within a few weeks!
- Additional information on membership is available on the NAP website; click
this link.
